Privacy Policy

Decode Kundali (“we”) respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We collect only what we need to provide your readings and keep your account secure, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email (via Google sign-in or email/password). Passwords are stored only as a securely hashed value — never in plain text.
• Birth details: date, time, and place of birth, which you provide to generate your Kundali and readings.
• Service requests: details you submit when requesting Vedic Astrology, Numerology, Name Correction, or Vastu — including, for Vastu, the property/business address you choose to share.
• Sign-in metadata: to keep your account secure, we log each sign-in with the time, IP address, device/browser, and approximate location (derived from your IP).
• Usage: the questions you ask our AI assistant and a per-account count, so we can provide and fairly limit the service.

What we do not collect

On the Panchang page your device may share its location to draw the sky for you — this is used only in your browser and is not stored on our servers or linked to your account.

How we use it

• To calculate your chart and provide readings, forecasts, and AI answers.
• To fulfil the services you request and contact you about them.
• To secure your account and detect misuse (the sign-in log).

How it's stored & shared

Data is stored in a managed database (Supabase) and accessed only by our server. We use a small number of processors to run the service — Google (sign-in), and an AI provider (Anthropic) which processes your question and chart context to generate answers. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

Your choices & rights

You can view and update your birth details anytime on your account page, and you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us. Where applicable (e.g. India's DPDP Act, or the GDPR for visitors in the EU/UK), you have rights to access, correct, delete, and object to certain processing of your data.
